Семь собак сбежали от похитителей и вместе прошли 17 км домой

В Чанчунь произошла почти киношная история, которая больше напоминает мультфильм от Pixar. Семь домашних собак, украденных, предположительно, для мясной лавки, сумели сбежать и вместе отправились обратно в родную деревню.

Видео с трассы снял местный житель — на кадрах собаки идут плотной группой, буквально «командой». Попытки остановить их не срабатывали, животные игнорировали людей и уверенно двигались вперёд. Позже выяснилось, что все они из одной деревни и привыкли гулять вместе, поэтому и держались как единое «стадо».

По данным волонтёров из приюта Bitter Coffee, собак, вероятно, украли люди, связанные с торговлей собачьим мясом. Предполагается, что животные сбежали из грузовика. На поиски отправили добровольцев и даже дрон.

Somewhere along the journey, in what must have been a moment of instinct & sheer will to survive, the dogs managed to escape, either jumping or falling from the moving vehicle. Instead of scattering in fear, the dogs stayed together. They were later seen moving as a pack along a highway, navigating unfamiliar terrain . It’s surprising that they didn’t leave one of their own behind, a German Shepherd that had been injured. They seemed to have understood that survival meant staying united. Over the next few days, they covered more than 10 kilometers, wandering until locals & volunteers began to notice them. Eventually, the dogs were found & guided back to safety, some even making their way home. I condemn meat trade & all forms of abuse & cruelty to animals.”

Финал оказался редким для таких историй: через три дня все семь собак вернулись к хозяевам. Им пришлось пройти около 17 км. Один из владельцев, у которого пропали овчарка и ретривер, прямо сказал: «Нам повезло — они вернулись домой, а не на стол».

История быстро разлетелась по китайским соцсетям и собрала сотни миллионов просмотров. Пользователи обсуждают не только «командную работу» собак, но и саму проблему, так как в северных регионах Китая до сих пор существуют случаи краж домашних животных ради мяса.

Сейчас кража собак в Китай считается уголовным преступлением, но законодательство страны прямо не запрещает употребление собачьего мяса, хотя Шэньчжэнь стал одним из первых городов материкового Китая, запретивших употребление в пищу кошек и собак в 2020 году.
